TRAC: Asylum Denials Rise to 94% Amid the Remaking of the Immigration Court
A new TRAC (Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse) report, published on Monday, shows that Immigration Court asylum denial rates reached 94% in June 2026, with immigration judges granting asylum to just 771 individuals. The number of asylum grants has continued to decline even as the volume of asylum decisions has increased, resulting in substantially higher denial rates.
