Take Action Tuesday: Urge Congress to Support the American Dream and Promise Act
Now is the time to urge Congress to act. AILA and the American Immigration Council are calling on members to ask their Representatives to support Rep. Sylvia Garcia’s discharge petition and bring H.R. 1589, the American Dream and Promise Act, to the House floor for a vote. This legislation would create a pathway to lawful status for Dreamers, Temporary Protected Status holders, Deferred Enforced Departure recipients, and others with temporary protections.
