Practice Alert: USCIS Provides 30-Day Grace Period for New Form I-864 and Associated Forms
Following litigation filed by AILA and its members on September 3, 2026, USCIS provided a 30-day grace period for the revised Forms I-864, I-864A, and I-864EZ, accepting both the October 17, 2024, and August 24, 2026, editions through September 30, 2026. Beginning October 1, 2026, only the August 24, 2026, editions will be accepted.
