Practice Alert: DOS Expands Online Presence Review to TN, TD, and I Visa Applicants
AILA’s DOS Liaison Committee updated its practice alert to address DOS’s further expansion of online presence review to I, TN, and TD visa applicants, which took effect October 1, 2026. The expansion covers foreign media representatives and USMCA professionals and their dependents, with DOS instructing affected applicants to set their social media profiles to “public” or “open.”
