Filing location:

(1) Aliens who are re-registering during the registration period (April 1, 2006 - June 1, 2006) and no additional documentation is required with your application must send their applications to the USCIS Lockbox address:

(2) Aliens who are re-registering and must submit supporting documentation or are applying for TPS for the first time as a late initial registrant must send their applications to the USCIS Lockbox address below. Applications for re-registration require the submission of supporting documentation under the following circumstances:

    A) If one or more of the questions listed in Part 4, Question 2 of Form I-821 apply to the alien, then an explanation on a separate sheet(s) of paper, and/or additional documentation must be provided.
    B) In the alien was granted TPS by an Immigration Judge or the Board of Immigration Appeals, then the alien must include exidence of the grant of TPS (such as an order from the Immigration Judge) with his or her application package.

An applicant for late initial registration must file an application for late registration no later than 60 days after the expiration or termination of the conditions listed in 8 C.F.R. 244.2(f) and (g).


(3) Aliens who are re-registering for TPS after the registration period (i.e., after June 1, 2006) must submit their applications with a letter explaining your good cause for failure to timely file to the Vermont Service Center address below. After June 1, 2006, the USCIS Lockbox can no longer accept late re-registration applications from aliens from Nicaragua. These aliens should send their applications (by USPS or other carrier) to:
